Ah MOOOOOOO and members of POW. The game play for bad company 2 is lots of fun. Buildings crashing down on ya running over tree with tanks and this is very much a squad based game as the other were. But the difference is there is much more foot battles then the early BF series. ACC has been playing for a couple of days and it is lots of fun. If you get a beta version please add us as your friend and join us.

After 6 hours of play yesterday, I've decided to summarize my experience with this game for the benefit of those who haven't tried it yet
Graphics: THIS GAME IS UNREAL. Every aspect of the visuals are almost beyond belief, from the character models, to the vehicles, right down to the maps themselves. The result of this is a pretty intense load on your system (I can only run the game on medium detail, but it still looks great), but if you have the rig for it then you will be rewarded. Also to note is the destructible maps: buildings get riddled with holes, fences disintegrate, trees get knocked over, and it all works realistically, without any weird physics or unrealistic situations occurring
Audio: Playing this game on a crowded server is a similar experience to watching a Michael Bay movie in a theater. Sniper rounds whizz over your head, gunfire is all around you, and explosions from tank rounds or RPGs make you think the world is about to end. Needless to say it's intense, and it's immersive, giving you a sense that there really is a war going on all around you. I will say that sometimes it gets to be a bit too much, though. There were times when I couldn't hear anyone on Teamspeak at all because a tank was rolling past me, or I was caught in a firefight.
Gameplay: All of that stuff doesn't matter though, because if the game isn't fun then there's no point. My personal opinion is that this game is an absolute BLAST to play, even in the beta. All the character classes are balanced and all are useful to the team: Assault carries assault rifles (with grenade launcher attatchment) and can drop ammunition crates to resupply teammates, Engineers use submachine guns and anti-vehicle weapons, and can use their repair tool to fix damaged vehicles (or kill enemies up close ). Medics use light machine guns, can drop health kits to increase injury regeneration, and can revive dead teammates, basically allowing them to respawn instantly exactly where they were killed, though if you used all your ammo before you died you might be screwed. Recon class is the sniper/spotter class, using long range rifles and C4, but also able to "spot" enemies for the team, so you always know where the threats are coming from.
Oh yeah, and there's vehicles too. The first time you hop into a tank and level a building is an epic experience. Actually it's always an epic experience. What is really impressive though is how balanced the vehicles are. No vehicle is invincible, and all can be destroyed by a determined team, but anyone is capable of hopping into the driver's seat and causing all kinds of mayhem, though the helicopters take a bit of skill to pilot well.
All of this stuff may look like giddy fanboy praise, but I'm trying to be as critical as possible. The big issue with the game right now seems to be the controls. There is no option to go prone, and there is no ability to lean around corners, showing that yes, BBC2 is also a console game. Also, you have to hold down the button to stay crouched instead of having a toggle option. But aside from that the only problems I can see right now are problems with the beta itself, such as a broken server browser and friends list, and these issues will likely be fixed well before the game releases for real.
I wasn't sold on BBC2 before the beta came out, but I figured I would pick it up and try it out in the hope that it would actually be pretty fun. I'm already glad I own this game, and I think the other ACC members in the beta feel the same way. It is INCREDIBLE.
Oh and I forgot to mention the return of what some people describe as "Battlefield Moments," when you do something or see something so crazy that you know it could only happen in a Battlefield game. Paradropping down diectly onto a tank, and hopping in without touching the ground, jumping an ATV off of a cliff and crashing into an enemy on impact, killing an enemy by levelling the building he's hiding in, killing someone with the Medic's defibrilator or the Engineer's repair tool, and even more insane things happen every round. I've already lost track of how many times I've said "Holy crap that was awesome" after watching somebody do something incredible.
And I agree with him on his review. It is total fun! But if your alone wolf type of commando you will not do well in this game. Play as a team and you level up fast.
